Cam Switch Configurator

Build the switching programme first. The app derives actual switch positions, cam profiles, return paths, physical construction, and jumper wiring from that programme.

Switch details

Select a Cantak model and its published rated current, then add the project information.

Cam profile overview

All displayed stages, generated from the switching programme. Each diagram combines its outer and inner profiles and shows physical sector capacity.

Switching programme

Each row represents one 15° physical cam sector. Positions are derived from closed contacts and continuous-cut midpoints.

Physical switch construction

Complete all-angle construction derived from the switching programme. Each stage shows its shared outer and inner cam profiles without repeating a selected-angle contact state.

Internal bridge: direct between terminal circlesExternal wires: separate colors and routing heights
No physical jumpers configured.

Global physical jumper wiring

Jumpers apply at every cam angle.

Allowed connection
Only valid terminal groups are available.

Jumper limitations used by this app

These are conservative generic engineering assumptions, not manufacturer-confirmed Secfetronik hardware rules.

Internal bridgeA short direct link between the two terminal circles in one stage: 1↔3 or 2↔4, then the equivalent connections in each following stage.
External wireConnects the same terminal position across two or three consecutive stages only, such as 1↔5, 2↔6, or 1↔5↔9.
Maximum external groupAn external connection is limited to two or three terminals. Longer groups are not offered.
Multi-terminal commonIf a terminal already participates in another jumper, the app warns that a common bus/branch is being created and combined current must be checked.
Not electrically validatedThe app does not know L1/L2/L3, circuit voltage, load, fault current, conductor size, or protective devices, so a physically allowed jumper may still be electrically unsafe.
Manufacturer confirmationRigid internal bridge availability, spacing, insulation, current rating, and layer restrictions must be confirmed for the actual switch series.
